One of the Co-director of Nishati Associates Limited is a Chairman of the Tanzania Association of Clean Cooking Stakeholders (TACCS).
- As a TACCS Chairman he oversees sector and stakeholders’ development in relation to clean cooking solutions (technologies, fuels, marketing, business development, training, capacity development, networking and information dissemination, financing, carbon trading)
- Technologies and fuels include biomass briquettes, pellets, bioethanol, biogas, LPG, natural gas, e-cooking).
- Provide technical assistance in the clean cooking space addressing the entire value chain – clean cooking technologies and fuels, business development, marketing and end users support.
- Clean cooking awareness development for policy and decision makers, key stakeholders, end users and communities at large
- Consult and advocate for clean cooking sound sector development enabling environment vision, policies and strategies.
- Monitoring and evaluation of clean cooking performance of projects, policies, technologies, fuels, markets, and financing opportunities
- Facilitate networking and information dissemination services regarding clean cooking among key players and communities
- Work on training, capacity development and market penetration aspects of the clean cooking solutions, technologies and fuels
